After spending a very cold night in the tent down by the Salmon River, we drove into Redfish Lake and began the hot, dusty hike up to the Bench Lakes. |

Although the morning had been cold, the afternoon was not. It was nice to find a shady spot for some lunch. |

| Jasmine loved crawling around in the woods, which of course worried her mother to death. |  |
| Julie showed Jasmine how cold the water was. The view of Mt. Heyburn from the uppermost of the five lakes is incredible. |  |
